We will be performing an outdoor piece at the racketball courts in Maria Hernandez Park on August 7th between 7:30pm - 8:30pm it is a free event.
r e g i o n (e s) is a free annual performing arts series aimed at presenting, commissioning, and promoting artists with roots in Latin America and across multiple artistic disciplines. The series celebrates Latinx culture showcasing the highest level of artistic work. Our aim is to create a space for dialogue by sharing these productions with Bushwick, Brooklyn, and New York audiences.
r e g i o n (e s): SUD, the first installment of this series, takes a closer look at work created by artists with roots in South America.
LAPA at the Brick for ?!:New Works
We will be presenting a small work in process of our new project LAPA at the Brick in this very cool festival of new works!
LAPA is a play written by Russian poet and playwright Daniil Kharms.
?!:New Works features a veritable slew of experiment(al)(ing) artists from a variety of disciplines presenting brand new work. Working it out. With each other. And you. All within two hot July weeks. Performances take place July 10-20 at The Brick. !?:New Works fosters collaboration between New York performing artists and encourages aggressive experimentation amongst a wildly supportive network of fellow artists.
